So can anyone tell me what I stumbled on. I purchased a 1979 930 from the original owner. The car has 1430. miles on it. It still has the temporary sticker in the windshield and has never had any plates on the car. Still has the paper plates from the selling dealer in San Fransisco. All original, un-touched, right down to the original P7's. I'm not sure if I should keep the car, or it should be in a Porsche collectors pocession.
Thanks
Julius

I would say that a collector in Germany would buy the car....there are a lot of cars going overseas they way the dollar is..... I am sure it would go overseas...

Garage Queen.
There are a lot of soft parts(seals, hoses, tires etc...)on that car that will
need to be addressed before it can be properly driven like it was designed to do.
Wouldn't do the freeway with those original P7s even if they look new.
Fix all this stuff(will be pricier than you think) throw in your Candy-O tape
and drive the heck out of it like it's 1979 all over again.
This will knock the heck out of its value though.
For the best monetary value keep the car the piece of automotive art it has become and don't drive it.

Julius, If you need, I can refer you to a great shop in Chatsworth....they mostly do World Class Mopar Restorations....Barrett-Jackson stuff..the million dollar Mopars.......they might have an idea........I hear they have a great crew...in fact I know those guys...

My neighbor has an original 930 slant nose cab. If you need more help, I can always contact him for you. He works on the car himself and maybe able to help you?
