First off, congrats to Lewis for winning the WDC, he's not my favorite driver but he's proven that he is a great driver, two years in a row (man that hurts to say)...LOL

Congrats to Ferrari for winning the Manufacturers title!

Congrats to Massa for winning the race and almost winning the WDC, he too has proven to be a great driver and IF the team didn't screw up that pit stop with the fuel hose, and IF his engine didnt' blow in that one race, he would be the WDC, but IFs don't count, it's racing....

So my post season review..... What a great season, one of the best in many years, 3 first time winners, lots of action that you just haven't seen in a while, last year was pretty good but this year was exciting to the last race, the last lap the last freakin corner... Let's hope next season is just as good!

Ditto. Let's hope Bernie doesn't screw it up with that most podium shit.

Congratulations to Lewis. I remember that a lot of people were down on Massa for a long time over the last two years and he has proven himself to be a very improved driver and great sportsman. Now I see on that other site that even though Lewis has won the WDC he is still not considered to be WDC and that attitude is a shame. He won, the season is now over and that's the end of it. We'll now be on to a new season with many, many drivers and teams showing a lot of promise for an exciting 09.

Very exciting race; I went through the whole range of emotions watching. Lewis deserved to win because of that horrible decision a few races earlier.

Lewis Hamilton World Drivers Champion 2008!

Indeed. I was standing up in front of the TV yelling what just happened!? Unbelievable last corner.

HWJ - good post, fun times in Brazil. Now that was a race, unlike Shanghai which was ho-hum strategy only. Had me on my feet too! As for the Bernie comment, it takes a strange and odd-ball guy to do what he has done with F-1, and who knows if anyone else could have. You gotta remember how disorganized and nearly failing it was. It takes a prick, and he fills the bill. Would like to see it done well in the US though. . . hmmm where should it be, where should it be. . .
