100K miles. Should I sell it or not?
Thinking that maybe I will sell it or trade it in on something.....maybe a G8....Blownchevy has preached about it.....been weighing it back and forth....seems like a great car and an amazing value....100k + 5 year warranty.
Any thoughts....

Dustin-
The fiscal part of me says that you should NOT do it, especially if you don't owe money on it (which I seem to recall is the case). And even though that twin-turbo is a ton of $$ to fix should something major occur, I can't believe you'll get a decent sales/trade-in value on it right now. Seems like a $ losing proposition just for some new bling.
The car-guy in me says do it this week. :) Just get a "sleeper" color in that G8 or GTO or whatever they call those Holden things.

just drove the G8. Drives nice. Must have a leather interior. Dont like the cloth. Is a heck of a value for the money and the 5 year 100k warranty.
Getting some numbers.

Which did you drive? GT with V8, or the new GTx with supercharged V8?

haha, whatever you do, don't drive the 6cyl. For $3k less than the v8, it is truly not worth it. Maybe you should get the GXP when that comes out so you can get a manual!

Hey Dusty,
You and Heather will want/need a house in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled for a good deal on the house market. The cars can and will come later.
Don't be an economic fool.
Cheers mate,

I'm with Hank. If not in action, in words.
After seeing your S4 on Monday, I'd have to say if it's not having or, on the verge of having a major issue, I'd keep it and focus on a property. The car looks great. I mean, "Oh darn, I'm stuck with an Audi S4 Avant" seems like a problem allot of people would not mind having. But I know the anxiety that a high mileage car brings. Maybe a temporary kick-down to a Mazda Speed3 for a couple of years, just to pass the time. Than an R8. You matched that so well. :D

Houses are cheaper now, but you're gonna need more money down than a year ago, so buying that depreciating GM product may mean missing out a a great property deal, if only you had that extra 15k...
