Tuesday, August 26, 2008 MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- A motorist had to be airlifted out of the Malibu area Tuesday morning after his car skidded off a highway and landed in a canyon.
Deputies say the unidentified driver was on Decker Canyon Road when his Porsche left the highway just before 8 a.m.
Rescuers say he was able to summon help by using his cell phone.
An L.A. County helicopter eventually found the motorist and brought him to Northridge Medical Center for treatment.
No word yet on his condition.
