Hello Guys,

I was at the local McDonalds hangout in Fullerton and a very nice gentleman with a 600+ RWHP Ferrari F40 turn me onto this site. A few friends and I have a fledgling website (www.motorgen.com) and we're organizing a cruise on the 30th that I wanted to invite you to. Here is a link (http://www.motorgen.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1165&day=2008-8-30&c=1) to the event on our calendar, and here is (http://www.motorgen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=564) a link to the discussion thread. I am the contact for this event, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to give me a call at 714-322-2324 or shoot me an email at SeanPlunk@gmail.com and I'll get back to you. If you want to let me know you're coming, add your name to the thread or put your name on the event calender here (http://www.motorgen.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1165&day=2008-8-30&c=1). Please feel free to bring family members, friends, etc. The run won't be too long and the bonfire should give everyone a nice chance to relax and hang out for a while. It should be a wide variety of cars and will be a good time. Everyone is invited, see you out there :)

I think it was Rick, but it might have been Jeff. How's that for being completely not helpful, LOL? I know that his F40 has a 3.4L V8 now and had a Oregon license plate. Really nice guy, I feel bad that I'm blanking out on his name. Thanks for the warm welcome to the board by the way :D

Rick's is the one with 600+ hp and the Oregon plates. Jeffrey's is stock and I believe has Arizona plates.

Welcome to DW. :)

Alright guys, last post for this, I PROMISE. Here is the way it's going to work Saturday:

We are meeting at Yorba Regional Park at the dirt softball field areas. Here (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=112146187180742219791.000453e60355ed7ccb680) is a link to the Google Map. We are meeting at the field between 2 and 3 P.M. to hang out for a little while. Make sure to go to the field area, and not actually into the park. If you go into the park, they charge you for it.

When we depart the park, here (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=E+La+Palma+Ave+%4033.864970,+-117.774750&daddr=E+Santiago+Canyon+Rd+%4033.814558,+-117.776684+to:33.796696,-117.765541+to:CR-S18%2FSantiago+Canyon+Rd+%4033.690610,+-117.626330+to:Trabuco+Canyon+Rd+%4033.659640,+-117.589700+to:Santa+Margarita+Pkwy+%4033.655890,+-117.650290+to:El+Toro+Rd+%4033.609250,+-117.729850+to:Laguna+Canyon+Rd+%4033.550740,+-117.779320+to:Pacific+Coast+Hwy+%4033.635290,+-117.964110&hl=en&geocode=15936454829431188960,33.864970,-117.774750%3B11926028830648221412,33.814558,-117.776684%3B12626018959610575535,33.690610,-117.626330%3B10015391586609890289,33.659640,-117.589700%3B15179790680072881387,33.655890,-117.650290%3B17939885060240333469,33.609250,-117.729850%3B1638556188646697632,33.550740,-117.779320%3B13247696735334691648,33.635290,-117.964110&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=2&sz=14&via=1,2,3,4,5,6,7&sll=33.800048,-117.770433&sspn=0.032595,0.055275&ie=UTF8&ll=33.711775,-117.719879&spn=0.522053,0.884399&z=10) is the route we're taking for the cruise. The cruise should be nice and mellow and last roughly 2 hours. At that point, we will be heading to Huntington Beach.

We(the organizers) are going to be at the beach at 6 A.M. when it opens to make sure we get pits. We are planning on being at a pit near the Brookhurst and PCH entrance to the beach (admission is $12). We are planning on getting to the beach right at 5 P.M for the cruise part of things. A rough map of the area can be found here (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=112146187180742219791.000453e60355ed7ccb680).

We are going to be bringing some food and drinks (water, chips, etc) and also are bringing cooking grates for people to cook food on. Please bring whatever main dish you would like to have. The grates should be good for burgers, steaks, chicken, hotdogs, of whatever else you guys bring.

If anyone has any questions, please go to the site (www.motorgen.com) and post in the thread in the California section, give me a call on my cell phone (714-322-2324), or shoot me an email (SeanPlunk@gmail.com). Otherwise, I'll see you guys out there :D
